ASTM A36 is a widely used hot-rolled low-carbon steel coil, belonging to carbon structural steel, conforming to the ASTM A36/A36M standard.
Material Properties:

Chemical Composition: Carbon content ≤0.26%, Manganese content 0.8-1.2%, Phosphorus and Sulfur content both ≤0.05%

Mechanical Properties: Yield strength ≥250MPa, Tensile strength 400-550MPa, Elongation ≥20%

Processing Advantages: Excellent weldability, supports conventional methods such as arc welding and gas shielded welding, and has strong machinability.
